China Live Hog Weekly: Market shows signs of slowing despite limited release (week ended Aug 27, 2013)
Though pig release remained tight, China hog market became choppy over the past week amid weak demand. While average carcass prices rose by 0.66% along with pork prices in southern regions, prices in the north fell slightly after a few weeks of gain.
