China resumes pork imports from Smithfield

 

 

China has allowed the Smithfield Packing Co. facility in North Carolina, US, to resume China-bound pork exportation produced after August 1.

 

Pork and pork products including heart and livers, with the exception of kidneys, stomach, intestine and bungs are now eligible for import.
 
The reinstatement clarifies which offal products are acceptable.
