Indonesia to tackle substandard meat
                           


Raids had been launched to tackle substandard meat in traditional markets, Police in Jakarta stated.

 

The raid aims to uncover chickens that have died before slaughter and water injected meat.

 

If traders were caught with these violations, they could be imprisoned for five months or fined for Rp5 million (US$500), Jakarta Police special crimes chief Sr. Comr. Agus Sutisna stated.
