US exporters sell 120,000 tonnes of corn to Egypt
Private exporters reported the sale of 120,000 tonnes of US corn to Egypt for delivery in the new marketing year, the Agriculture Department said Monday (August 27).
The 2007/08 marketing year for corn opens September 1.
By law, exporters must report promptly the sale of 100,000 tonnes or more of a commodity in a single day to the same destination. Sales of smaller amounts are reported weekly.
