China's sulphuric acid imports in July increase by 28.9%
According to the data from Customs General Administration of China, China imported a total of 94,500 tonnes of sulphuric acid in July, valued at US$3.61 million.
The imports in July are a surge of 28.9% compared to June's 73,300 tonnes, and a rise of 24.4% on-year.
Sulphuric acid can be used as a food additive to adjust the pH, which helps create a more acidic environment that discourages the growth of bacteria and spoilage microbes.
