Market analysis

 

AA broiler
 

With the demand for chicken products improving, prices of AA broiler strengthened, albeit modestly.

 

However, buying interest for day-old chicks were stable in the range of RMB3.15-3.70/bird

 

China breed broiler   
                                          

Prices of China breed broiler were mixed, rising in the north where demand expanded amid dropping weather temperatures, but falling in the south and east amid increased releases.

 

Chick prices were higher as farmers rebuilt inventories while floods subsided.

 

Market forecast

 
Demand for chicken products should increase further in September as Chinese consumers prepare for the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Nonetheless, cautious mood will keep price increases slow, particularly during early parts of the month.
 
Chick prices are seen stable to lower as broiler farmers stay prudent in anticipation of soft demand during October and November.
