Jansen Poultry develops new poultry harvesting system

Jansen Poultry Equipment, a developer of poultry farming systems, has designed the Classic Lifting System, a new harvesting system which supports operations of Jansen's BroMaxx poultry rearing system.

Developed to reduce the operational costs of running several poultry houses within a specific area, the system includes a transportable broiler collection belt for moving livestock out of multiple houses, and a horizontal lift, which is located at one end of the BroMaxx system and able to harvest broilers out of several rows immediately. Through this layout, broilers are transported to the other end of a row and transferred onto the automated broiler collection belt which delivers them to the central loading dock located outside the house.

The absence of bends in the belt design helps to maintain the health and meat quality of broilers.

The Classic Lifting System is easy to install for all purposes and can be fitted with crate conveyors and container filling machines. The collection belt can be folded into a compact size and is made with wheels for mobility to other houses. It is also available in a single or double belt type, the latter of which increases harvesting capacity.
