Singapore's agri-food authority lifts suspension on N&N eggs

After a period of monitoring, Singapore's Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) has lifted its suspension on eggs produced by N&N Agriculture Farm.

AVA said N&N's eggs are now safe for consumption and can be sold to retailers and food manufacturers.

AVA suspended the farm from selling their eggs in July, after the detection of antibiotic residues in the eggs.

During the period of suspension, AVA has been monitoring the residue situation through laboratory tests on feed, water and eggs produced. The farm has been cleared of the residue problem and has compiled with AVA's requirements.
