BinMaster appoints new distributor

Nebraska-based BinMaster Level Controls has appointed Cape Instrument Services CC of Cape Town, South Africa as distributor for the company's SmartBob continuous level management system and point level controls throughout South Africa.

Cape Instruments will sell, install and service the BinMaster SmartBob cable-based inventory management system plus its rotary level indicators, capacitance probes, vibrating rods, diaphragm switches, and flow and dust detection products.

South Africa has excellent market potential with its growing infrastructure and diverse economy, said Todd Peterson, BinMaster's vice president of sales, as he explained the appointment.

Cape Instruments will be able to provide local consultation to help customers identify the right products for their level measurement application, Peterson said.

Combining BinMaster's products with Cape Instruments' knowledge of the South African market enable the two companies to solve customers' powder and bulk solids measurement challenges by offering a variety of solutions for all types of bins and materials, according to Joseph Goldenbaum, sales director for Cape Instruments.

BinMaster is focused on designing, manufacturing and marketing sensoring devices for the measurement of bulk solid and liquid materials for the feed and grain, food, plastics, pulp & paper, power, mining, and concrete industries.
