Schaumann MD - New applicators for Bonsilage and Silasil Energy

The use of Bonsilage, Europe's top silage additive, is an essential tool for producing quality silages. In order to maximise the effectiveness of Bonsilage, it is vital to employ accurate and efficient dosing technology.

With this in mind, Schaumann has launched Schaumann MD, a new range of applicators which meet all requirements. The Schaumann MD dosers deliver Bonsilage and Silasil Energy products simply and accurately, even at very high chopping rates.

The output of the Schaumann MD models 150, 300 und 700 ranges from 20-700 tonnes per hour. Schaumann MD dosers guarantee accurate nebulisation of silage additives at very low dose rates into the intake airstream of all forage harvesters, including those with capacities in excess of 300 tonnes per hour. It is not necessary to carry a spare water tank.

In the design of the Schaumann MD dosers, special attention was paid to ease of operation and adjustment. Flow control and nozzle monitoring with a visual and auditory alarm system, a nozzle rinse function and continuous display of the amounts of silage additive delivered ensure effective control of the application of Bonsilage and Silasil Energy products.
