Hong Kong hit by latest case of pig disease
Hong Kong's authorities have confirmed a latest case of the deadly pig disease that recently claimed almost forty lives in China's Sichuan province.
The latest Hong-Kong case reportedly came only two days after China's government declared Sichuan's outbreak to be under control.
A 62-year-old woman was the latest Hong Kong victim to the pig disease, but was in stable condition so far, according to local reports.
The woman had not left Hong Kong in recent days and her family members have shown no signs of the disease, reports said.
China's government reportedly declined to comment specifically on the Hong Kong outbreak, saying those cases were unrelated with the mainland.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization was still monitoring the situation carefully in Hong Kong for related groups of people catching the disease.
