Showers to aid Argentine wheat crop
Showers should aid wheat development in Argentina, a major wheat exporter, according to a three-month forecast released by Earth Satellite's Cropcast on Wednesday (Aug 23).
Cropcast said Argentina's wheat "crop is currently struggling due to widespread moisture shortages in the northern two thirds of the belt".
A lack of heat during the key heading stage should also aid production prospects, Cropcast said.
