Vietnam's seafood exports to Greece rise 170 percent


  

Vietnam's seafood exports to Greece has risen 170 percent year-on-year to US$3.33 million, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP). 

 

There are about 20 Vietnamese exporters shipping processed seafood to Greece. One of them, the Hai Vuong Company in central Khanh Hoa province, has even achieved an export turnover of more than US$1.1 million.

 

The country's main seafood exports to Greece include red snapper, shrimp, cuttlefish, mackerel, and tuna.

 

Vietnam has since expressed hopes that Greece will continue to increase its import of Vietnamese seafood.
