Prices Of Poultry Products Remain Stable In India

The farm-gate prices of shell egg and live-bird in India continue to remain stable this week.

The National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC)'s week price fixation committee in the State has chosen to maintain the wholesale egg rate at Rs 1.40 a piece, which is the same rate as the previous week.

With regards to the selling price of broilers, the State Broiler Coordination Committee has announced an increase of Rs 2 in the selling price from Rs 27 in the week before. Thus the broiler price is Rs 29 per kg this week.

The striking truck operators have earlier exempted the poultry products from strike, and allowed the movement of eggs, chickens and the poultry feed.
