China's Fishmeal Imports for July Down 30% To 103,943 MT
 

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported a total of 103,943 metric tons of fishmeal in July 2004, down by 30% from June.

Major exporters of fishmeal to China in July were:

Peru:       78,945 metric tons

Chile:      13,766 metric tons

USA:         2,024 metric tons.

From January to July, China's total fishmeal imports were 489,644 metric tons.
