China sells 41,725 tonnes of reserve wheat

China sells 41,725 tonnes of reserve wheat at its weekly auction on August 22, with the transaction rate higher than the 1.47% recorded at the last auction where a similar volume was offered.

Boosted by robust demand, wheat prices have increased recently and this helped buoy trading at the reserve wheat auction where lower-than-market prices were offered.
