Bulgarian Poultry producer builds US$4.8 million factory

 

 

Bulgarian poultry meat producer Polo Commerce announced construction of a 7.0 million lev (US$4.8 million) meat processing factory, on the Black Sea coast.

 

The plan is a slight adjustment earlier plans, company CEO Anatoli Kolev said on Tuesday (Aug 21).

 

Polo Commerce now has an outlet in Nessebar that supplies meat products to restaurants in seaside resorts near the town.

 

The construction of the factory in Nessebar will be completed in the summer of 2008 and produce 10 tonnes of poultry products a day.

 

The company will also build a 10,000 square metre hypermarket on the site in Nessebar.

 

The company earlier announced plans to build a 6.0 million lev meat procesing factory unit in the town of Kostinbrod, in western Bulgaria.
