Vertellus Specialties raises its vitamin B3 price

Vertellus Specialties Inc. announced Aug 17 a global price increase for its feed grade vitamin B3 products.

Effective from Oct 1, 2007, the price will be US$8.18 /kg or EUR5.98/kg for non-contract customers or as existing contracts permit.

Vertellus said the move was needed to enable reinvestment in the vitamin B3 business.
