Seaprodex Saigon export revenues up by 81.5 percent

Saigon Fishery Export-Import Joint Stock Co (Seaprodex Saigon) export turnover of 1,113 tonnes of seafood worth US$4.03 million has increased by 33.8 percent in volume and 81.5 percent in value over the same period of last year, reported the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

Accounting the largest volume was squid with 606 tonnes worth US$1.75 million and followed by octopus with 201 tonnes worth US$456,548 and other seafood.

Korea market was the company's biggest importer with 665 tonnes worth US$1.76 million and followed by Spain, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, Italia and the US.
