Cobb-Vantress appoints new member to North American service team

Cobb-Vantress has appointed Rory DeWeese to the company's North American technical service team. 

DeWeese will be responsible for serving Cobb's clients in the states of Alabama, Tennessee and Florida.

With 25 years of experience in the US poultry industry, DeWeese has been with Pilgrim's Pride for the last 11 years, most recently as a live production manager at the company's Russellville complex in Alabama. He first began his career with Seaboard Farms in Mayfield, Kentucky, before taking the role of a live production manager with ConAgra after its purchase of Seaboard's poultry division in 2000. 

Since Pilgrim's Pride acquisition of ConAgra's chicken business, DeWeese had held numerous capacities including complex manager and regional vice president of fast food services, with responsibilities for five complexes and the production of more than five million broilers per week.
