Russia's July beef production totalled 14,200 tonnes, 1.2% less than in the same month of 2011 and 5.7% more than in June this year.

Without giving output figures in tonnages, the statistics agency said beef output in January-July fell by 4.9% compared with the same period last year.

Russia's pork output in July increased by 15.9% compared with July 2011 to 76,300 tonnes. Pork output in July was 4.5% more than in June this year.

Poultry output in July totalled 285,000 tonnes, 21.8% more than in July 2011 and 9.5% more than in June this year.
