Bayer HealthCare to exclusively sell Norbrook products in Germany, France

Norbrook Laboratories Ltd, Newry, Northern Ireland (UK) and Bayer HealthCare Leverkusen, Germany have signed an agreement which allows Bayer to exclusively distribute a range of Norbrook's animal health products in Germany and France.

 

The product range covers Food Animal products as well as Companion Animal products in the segments of parasiticides, anti-infectives and pharmacologicals.The products are developed, registered and manufactured by Norbrook, and will be sold under Norbrook's label and trade name.

 
"Our aim is to complement our portfolio in order to be able to offer comprehensive solutions to our customers", states Dirk Ehle, head of Bayer HealthCare's animal health division."


"We are happy to expand the existing good partnership between Norbrook and Bayer", explains Norbrook chairman Lord Ballyedmond. "This cooperation covers both the distribution of products already on the market as well as products under development for France and Germany."

 
Norbrook is a leader in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry based in Newry, Northern Ireland. It is a research-based company and is the largest producer of veterinary sterile antibiotics in the world.
 
Bayer HealthCare, a subgroup of Bayer AG combines the global activities of the animal health, consumer care, medical care and pharmaceuticals divisions.
