AB Enzymes moves headquarters to Ohio
  

 

AB Enzymes has announced that as of August 1, 2009, the North American headquarters will move to Columbus, Ohio, as the company strengthens its sales teams and consolidates support functions in one location to enable superior service in the North American region.

 

The move is planned to support a strategic effort that AB Enzymes is currently undertaking to strengthen its presence in the region.

 

Joerg Koehler, newly appointed sales director for the Americas region, said, "The new location at the facilities of our sister company, ABITEC Corporation, will bring us a well equipped office environment and proximity to all relevant supporting functions. With Sales and Sales Support under one roof we have laid the foundation for our plans for accelerated growth and superior customer service in the North American region. In addition to the office move, and as part of our plans to strengthen our customer service, we are implementing a new structure for our North American sales organisation, effective July 23, 2009."

 

AB Enzymes is part of ABF's Ingredients division, ABF Ingredients, which focuses on high value ingredients for food and non-food areas through its operating companies Ohly, Abitec, Protient, AB Enzymes and PGPI.

 

AB Enzymes and AB Vista have a close partnership in development and commercialisation of feed enzymes, AB Vista is the Feed Ingredients division of AB Agri (Associated British Agriculture), the Agriculture Group of ABF.
