Romania's Agricola Bacau expects continued growth for rest of the year

 

 

Agricola Bacau, a major poultry producer in Romania, posted a profit of EUR 216,000, on net revenue of EUR 388.1 million, during the first six months of 2007.

 

Sales revenue would continue to grow in the second half of the year, Agricola Bacau's president Gheorghe Antochi said.

 

The company had invested EUR 12.4 million this year to enhance production capacity.

 

For the next two years, the company would focus on pushing up sales of its refrigerated and frozen meat.

 

The company also expects a turnover of EUR 75 million this year.
