China approves Perten Instruments' Aquamatic 5100 grain moisture meter

Chinese authorities have granted a national type approval for Perten Instruments' Aquamatic 5100 grain moisture meter following evaluations.

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine performed the tests, which were conducted in accordance with metrology law. Perten Instruments claims results have shown that instrument accuracy and precision meet legal requirements.

With the approval, Aquamatic 5100 can be used for analysis of moisture and specific weight in commercial grain trading in China. The approval, which has the number 2007-C205, is valid for several commodities including wheat, barley, corn, soybeans and rapeseed.
