China methionine market shows signs of strengthening
Prices of methionine were stable to higher during the week ending August 18.
Supply of methionine tightened lately as the shipment of one global producer was delayed. Several traders who ran out of stocks halted price releases as a result.
Price quotes for locally produced methionine were at RMB31.50/kg.
Once the delayed shipment arrives, the supply crunch in China will be eased.
