Silage additives producer, ADDCON has appointed Lena Lorenz as the company's technical application manager.

 

Lena specialises in animal nutrition and holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in agriculture from the University of Bonn, Germany. 

 

Having done several internship with the feed industry, her bachelor thesis, conducted in cooperation with the Chamber of Agriculture (North Rhine - Westphalia) looks into the influence of feeding on biological and economical success in dairy cows. Lena also authored a master thesis concerning the influence of physical processing methods of feed on ruminal nutrient digestibility in vitro. The study was done in cooperation with a German compound feed company which has 12 facilities in Germany and produces 2.5 million tonnes of compound feed yearly.
