Lower feed prices to help Brazil's chicken exports exceed US$3 billion
Lower feed prices are helping Brazilian exports rise 27 percent this year and would help it exceed to the US$3 billion mark this year.
While many countries are struggling with higher feed prices due to the increased costs of grains, farmers in Brazil are now paying 80 percent less for their corn, and 40 percent less for their soymeal than at the beginning of the year.
A record corn crop in Brazil and the US has ensured that demand would be more than adequately met.
