Dostofarm develops oregano oil-based liquid premix for livestock

Dostofarm, the manufacturer of aroma feed additives and complementary feeds, has extended its range with a special product line for organic animal nutrition.

Under "Dosto Sun 4Green", the company has developed a new liquid premix for animals including pigs, poultry, ruminants, calves and lambs. It could be used in ecological husbandry, in accordance with EU Council Regulations (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2008.

The concentrate is based on natural oregano oil and enhances the animals' immune system and performance. The active substances are supplied as the powder "Dosto Mineral 4Green", which is mixed with the feed. "Dosto Blend 4Green" is intended for organic feed mills and for premix producers. The addition of the appetite stimulant is unnoticeable in the animal product.

Natural oregano is an effective and comprehensively tested phytogenic feed additive, possessing favourable properties, particularly with bacterial loads.

16 years ago, Dostofarm succeeded in extracting and processing this active substance complex into a pure natural product with standardised properties, the precondition for successful use in husbandry.
