US Pacific Seafood acquires salmon processing firm
US family-owned seafood company Pacific Seafood Group said Thursday (Aug 13) it has acquired smoked seafood and gourmet food processing group Salmolux for an undisclosed sum.
Pacific Seafood Group's president and CEO Frank Dulcich said the acquisition will enhance the company's ability to directly source and produce quality hot and cold smoked seafood products for its customers.
The company pointed out in a statement that the operations of Salmolux will continue to be based in the US.
Pacific Northwest and its current management will continue to be in charge of daily operations.
