Ukraine's July beef prices up by 11.1 percent
Beef prices in July on Ukraine's 24 regions rose by 0.3 to 11.1 percent to UAH 16.75 (US$3.34) to UAH24.63 (US$4.92) per kilogramme, compared to June, figures from State Price Control Inspectorate show.
At the same time, beef prices on the markets of Kyiv fell by 2.6 percent to UAH 23.67 per kilogramme, in Ternopil and Cherkasy regions the prices remained at the level of UAH 18.33 to UAH19.02 per kilogram.
The inspectorate said the July prices were the highest in Kyiv region at UAH24.63 per kilogramme while the lowest price of UAH 16.75 per kilogramme was registered on the markets of Zakarpattia region.
