Degussa's Feed Additives Business Unit has published a special edition of its customer magazine AMINONews for the compound feed industry.

 

This edition is dedicated to the topic 'Check your specs in broiler diets - Trends and latest issues in broiler diet formulation'.

 

The answer to the fundamental question, "What specification do you define in your feed?" naturally depends on what business objectives need to be achieved and is influenced by numerous factors such as the market, genetic potential environment, feed intake or feed form. This review addresses such influences and their impact on feed formulation. 

 

Specifications may also be benchmarked with averages values obtained from more than 1,600 feed samples analysed with Degussa's AMINOLab over the last five years.
