Vietnam's seafood export up 24.5% in first seven months
Vietnam's seafood sales to international market totalled US$4.2 billion in the first seven months of 2014, up by 24.5% on-year, according to Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
During seven-month period, the US remained the largest market for the country's seafood with a surge of 41.3% on-year in value terms.
MARD also said that Vietnam saw strong growth in other major markets, including Japan, South Korea and China, with increases of 7.32%, 51.33% and 35.28%, respectively,.
