Below is an abstract of the report:

China corn prices move higher amid low supplies and rising demand

Dwindling corn supply in the Yellow/Huai River production regions and recovering demand from feed millers helped prop up China corn prices in July. However, recent improvement in the growth of new corn and the slowdown in China's corn export would continue to exert pressure on prices. Thus, analysts said corn prices in China would remain stable to higher in August.

This 3-page report includes:

1.         Improvement in corn growth in Yellow/Huai River production regions

2.         Low supplies at Yellow/Huai River production regions boost corn prices

3.         Suspension of bulk sales of old corn stocks helps to prop up prices

4.         Recovery in feed millers' demand for corn

5.         Significant year-on-year increase in China's corn exports for first half of 2005
