Industry sources disclose that Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), Thailand's leading hatchery, has tightened shrimp fry supply to farmers to control production and stave off price depression. In the next few months, the sources add, shrimp supply could drop drastically as farmers are growing less fry now.
