VIETSTOCK 2004 Rescheduled To December 1-3, 2004
In view of the uncertainties associated with cases of avian influenza found in certain provinces in southern Vietnam, VIETSTOCK 2004-Indochina's International Feed & Livestock Industry Show-has been rescheduled to December 1-3, 2004.
AMB Events, the show organiser, made this decision at the recommendation of Vietnam's Department of Agriculture, which is also the Host Organisation of the event. 150 exhibitors from 18 countries are expected to participate in the show.
According to the Agriculture ministry, avian influenza, or bird flu, has been eradicated from 7 of the 11 southern provinces. The government plans to eliminate the bird flu by October.
