China July soy imports up 25 percent on year
China's soy imports in July rose 25 percent to 4.39 million tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said Tuesday.
In the January-July period, soy imports rose 28 percent compared with the same period last year to 26.48 million tonnes.
China is the world's largest importer of soy, and gets most of its supplies from the US, Brazil and Argentina, the world's leading soy producers.
