In January-June, Belarus' supplies of milk and non-condensed cream to Moldova increased 1.8 times in value terms, from US$91,100 to US$162,900.
The exports of buttermilk, yogurt and kefir went up 1.6 times (from US$171,700 to US$273,300), of butter - 3.3 times (from US$157,000 to US$518,000).
With this, in the first six months Belarus' supplies of cheese and curd to Moldova reduced by 7.6% (from US$643,500 to US$594,800), that of milk, condensed and dried cream - by 32.4% (from US$174,200 to US$117,800).
Belarusian dairy products are in great demand in Moldova due to their high quality and moderate prices. This May the Glubokoye and Grodno Dairies took their products to the 19th International Exhibition Food & Drinks in Chisinau where they received high assessment of consumers from Moldova and other countries.
