India's soymeal exports in July up 20.63% on year

India's July 2012 soymeal exports jumped 20.63% to 168,341 tonnes as compared to 139,551 tonnes in July of 2011.

On a financial year basis, the export during April-July 2012 is 824,208 tonnes as compared to 737,522 tonnes in the same period of previous year showing an increase of 11.75%, Soy Processor Association (SOPA) spokesman Rajesh Agrawal said here.

He claimed that the data has been collected and compiled by SOPA based on the information received from the SOPA Members, Port Authorities and Other Agencies.

The data does not include exports to Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh by Rail or Road, he added.
