Kazakhstan and EU banned poultry imports from Ukraine as the infection expands
Kazakhstan and the EU have banned poultry products imports from Ukraine due to a bird flu outbreak in the Crimea, Nikolay Patsiuk, Deputy Chief of State Department for Veterinary Medicine in Ukraine announced Tuesday (Aug 8).
Russia has already instituted a ban on Ukrainian chicken products earlier this month.
Meanwhile, bird flu has spread to at least 19 settlements in the Crimea, two cities and two resort villages.
