Taiwan Sugar To Seek 27,000 MT US Corn, Soy In Tender

The state-owned Taiwan Sugar Corp. will seek 21,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow corn and 6,000 tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow soybeans in a buy tender to be held 0700 GMT Wednesday, said a Taipei- based trader who received the tender notice.

Taiwan Sugar plans to buy one cargo to be shipped either between Sept. 1-15 from the U.S. Gulf, or between Sept. 16-30 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.
