Russia bans imports of Norway's salmon
Russia imposed a ban on Norway's salmon imports, as the sanctions war between Russia and the west escalated, Wall Street Journal reports.
Shares in two of the leading Norwegian salmon producers, Marine Harvest ASA and SalMar ASA, sank amid the news. Russia accounts for 5% and 8% of sales of the two companies, respectively.
In recent weeks, the escalation of tensions has taken a toll on European companies.
