Lysine prices dropped at slower pace during the week ending August 7.
 
Demand for lysine continued to be slack as soymeal market weakened while animal feed consumption showed little improvement.
 
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine slipped to RMB9.75-10.10/kg.
