Ukraine's June cattle population up 0.1%
Ukraine's cattle population rose by 0.1% in June or 7,500 head compared to May, to 5.204,500 head as of July 1, 2012.
Cattle population rose by 0.1% or 3,100 head at private farms, and by 0.3% or 4,400 head at specialised farms.
In June, cow population went up by 0.1% or 2,500 head, and as of July 1, 2012, made up 2,632,300 head.
The cattle population increased by 0.3% or 14,900 head, compared to July 1, 2011.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in May cattle population rose by 1.1% or 58,500 head, compared to April, to 5,197,500 head as of June 1, 2012.
In May, cow population went up by 0.2% or 5,300 head, and as of June 1, 2012, made up 2,629,800 head.
