East China province reaps 2.18-billion-kilogramme summer grain crop
From January to June 2012, Shandong gathered 2.18 billion kilogrammes of summer grain, 3.6% higher against on-year, according to a statement from the local branch of the National Bureau of Statistics.
The province in East China also produced 3.72 million tonnes of tonnes of pork, beef, mutton and poultry between January and June of 2012, an 8.2% on-year increase, sources reported, citing the local arm of the National Bureau of Statistics.
Moreover, in January to June 2012, Shandong Province in Eastern China saw its milk production hit 1.32 million tonnes, a 5.9% increase compared with the same period of 2011, sources reported, citing the local statistics bureau.
