Taiwan Sugar delays US corn, soy tender
The Taiwan Sugar Corp. has deferred a tender to purchase 23,000 tonnes of corn and 12,000 tonnes of soy from the US to August 8, European traders stated on Thursday (Aug 2).
The tender had been due to open on Thursday but could not take place because typhoon storms have disrupted business in Taiwan, traders said.
The tender sought shipment is for August 12-26 from the US Gulf Coast or August 27-September 10 from the US Pacific Northwest.
