Philippine Feed Weekly: Feed prices escalate amid heavy rains (week ended Aug 1, 2012)
Cost of wheat in the Chicago Board of Trade has surged 20.2% at US$8.88 per bushel while corn futures also jumped 19.9% and soy at 17.21%. Industry players say this was the reason for the increase in the local feed prices despite the usual off-season for meat and feed.
