Chinese company launches new halal meat processing project

 

 

China's Tangshan Falide Food Company will build a 10,000 tonne per year halal meat processing plant in Hangu, Hebei province. The total investment for this project will amount to RMB95.36 million.

 

The plant will occupy a 4.7-hectare site and it will first focus on beef and mutton processing in the initial phase of its development. Processing of meats from chicken, duck, rabbit and deer as well as dairy production will be added later. First phase of project construction will commence by the end of this year. When it is fully operational, the plant is expected to contribute RMB231 million in annual revenue.

 

Together with Sanlu Dairy Company and Fonterra-Tangshan Animal Husbandry Farm, the new plant will facilitate agricultural development in the Hangu region.
