Kazakhstan increases grain export potential

 
 

On August 3, 2010, President Nursultan Nazarbaev of the Republic of Kazakhstan has declared that the country's export potential in 2010/11 MY has increased to a total of eight million tonnes of grains.

 

Earlier, the Director of the Department of development of land cultivation and phytosanitary security of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anna Buts, declared that Kazakhstan grain export potential in 2010/11 MY will total nearly 6-7 million tonnes.

 

In April, the Ministry of Agriculture estimated the country export potential for the current MY at the level of 12.5-13 million tonnes.
