Grain exports from Russia to reach 15 million tonnes

In the season 2010/11, grain exports from Russia will possibly total 12-15 million tonnes, according to Vladimir Petrichenko, the General Director of ProZerno Ltd.

According to him, based on general grain production at the level of 74 million tonnes, the export volumes from the country are estimated at the level of 15.3 million tonnes in the current season.

However, in the event that grain production is lower at 72 million tonnes, the exports from the country will total 12 million tonnes, he said.
